I recently did mri for my back lain. Report showed that I have enlarged lymph node in para aortic region and I should do a ct scan. I did ct scan and it said  few enlarged left para aortic lymph nodes inferior to the left renal hilum. Clinical correlation with further relevant examination / follow up and sos contrast scan is suggested.  no free fluid in abdomen.  no radiodense renal calculi or hydroureteronephrosis. I've no symptoms at all related to my stomach.

size of the lymph nides also mater. Usually subcentimere sized nodes are due to infection from bacteria and viruses. If you do not have fever, cough, weight loss etc, generally there is no need to worry.

Whenever I get really bad cold or fever I notice a swollen lymph node in neck which is like in the size of pepper or peanut. It appears only when I get cold but stays for years and never go away. Two years before I found two swollen nodes when I had severe cold and fever and it never gone down or grew. And this week I again had a bad cold and found another swollen lymph node.

I didn't eat anything cold at all for the past whole month. If the lymph node in my neck is enlarged because of periods then how long will it remain enlarged? Hello doctors after 2 years ago I had cough mild fever and next I saw a small swollen lymph nodes in my neck and pain epididymis left side. And my gf have same problem after me fever headache and next 2 swollen lymph node in her neck.in this 2 years I check 3 times hiv and hsv. And this month I check all std all report is negative. Now my problem this lymph node still in this position and sometimes pain in this area and left hand and their is a cough when clod weather and morning time. How to proper cure this problem.

Hi I am 25 years old 2 years ago I had dry cough (3-4 weeks )and fever and a small swollen lymph nodes in my left side of neck and pain in my testicular left side .after I did check hiv antibiotics 4 times one after 14 days and second after 3 months and third after 6 month and last was 1.2 years all test was negative because.(i did sex with my gf she has some problems like irregular menstruated and cyst in ovary) so I check this time. And now swollen lymph node still in this position and pain sometimes. There is same problem of my gf and I have pain my left testicular and a black spot on my penis. So how to solve this problem and what should I do next?

Hi, don't know if this is the right place to look for help, but I am out of options, basically I have struggled with my stomach and intestines since october 2018, at first it was just a mild fever, burning in stomach, and a few bad bowel habits, but then my bowels became much worse over time, had bouts of diarrhea, constant abdominal tenderness and cramps, and obviously gas, I did all kinds if tests, blood, colonoscopy, endoscopy, ct scan of both abdomen and chest, mri enterography, and nothing showed apart from enlarged lymph nodes, so I went to a hematologist she said that does are reactive and non specific small nodes, and 2 weeks ago I went to a doctor who specialises in infections she ordered a feces test on gut bacteria and came back this e.coli h7 dna, she said that this type of bacteria can cause all these symptoms and lymph nodes but you don't treat it, usually it goes away on it's own, asked what to do next, she said this is probably the thing that causes everything, and just try diets and probiotics for the next 2 months, but it's been 1 year and 6 months, is it possible for bacteria to sit inside me for that long, and cause all these symptoms for so long and won't go away? I just highly doubt it.

I had tuberculosis last year on lymph node below the jaw. The node did not reduced to normal size after the treatment. Now last week I got cold. I had medicines like enzoflam, pantocid it, cetirizine and ceftum. The size of lymph node got lessen with these a bit. Then after the medications are over the node is more swollen then before. I am scared. Please help me with this.

I am 32 year old female with swollen lymph nodes (deep cervical nodes) in which 1 node 1.5 cm size where other 2 in small peanut size for past 3 weeks ,i have no fever fatigue or any other symptoms, actually breastfeeding my second child, as it has no other reason we did an fnac and report was reactive hyperplasia, I am totally stressed when my lymph node turns normal ,is this anything serious, do I need to go for biopsy.
